Job Overview: We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading and premier dry-cleaning company, for the position of Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP). This role requires a strategic and dynamic professional who will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, ensuring HR practices align with business objectives while fostering employee engagement, compliance, and workforce development.
Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals, drive workforce planning, and support change initiatives. Champion a positive employee experience through conflict resolution, performance management, and proactive engagement programs. Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and continuous learning initiatives to build a future-ready workforce. Ensure workplace safety, legal compliance, and employee wellness in partnership with EHS teams. Oversee competitive compensation structures, benefits programs, and retention strategies tailored to workforce needs. Demonstrate strong knowledge of statutory payments and regulatory compliance. Lead the performance appraisal process, including designing competency-based frameworks, facilitating review sessions, and coaching managers to deliver constructive feedback. Drive the development, implementation, and monitoring of Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) to support employee growth and performance correction.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in human resource management. Professional training and development certifications are an added advantage. Strong knowledge of HR legal requirements, including workers’ compensation and union relations. Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and inspire a team.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in human resource management.
