Duties and Responsibilities: Support lawyers by conducting detailed legal research, preparing legal documents, and analyzing laws and documents. Responsibilities also include staying updated on legal developments, maintaining organized records, drafting legal documents, and effectively communicating key findings to team members.
Required Qualifications: Ability to learn or strong knowledge and understanding of Law and Legal Frameworks; Ability to learn or basic proficiency in Legal Document Preparation and drafting accuracy; Ability to learn or good Communication skills, both verbal and written; Ability to learn or Advanced Research and Analytical Skills to evaluate legal information and cases; Ability to learn or basic Attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B) or equivalent qualification (pending or actual). Membership of the Nigerian Bar Association is a plus.
Experience: Prior experience in a legal support or research role is advantageous.
Languages: Ability to learn or basic proficiency in using legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Additional Notes: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
