Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Internal Control Specialist to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls across all departments of Ikogosi Warm Spring Resort.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct regular risk assessments, perform periodic audits, ensure compliance with policies, identify process improvements, and prepare detailed reports on audit findings.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics. Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is highly preferred.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of finance experience, preferably in the hospitality or tourism sector.
Additional Notes:
Strong proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) and corporate banking portals. In-depth knowledge of financial reporting and revenue recognition principles (e.g., IFRS 15).
