Job Description
Job Overview:
The Accountant is responsible for managing the financial operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring accurate record-keeping, compliance with financial regulations, and providing insights to support business decisions. This role plays a key part in controlling costs, monitoring revenue, and maintaining profitability in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports (profit & loss, cash flow, balance sheet). Monitor sales revenue from food, beverages, and events. Reconcile POS systems, cash registers, and bank statements. Track and report variances in revenue and expenses. Monitor food and beverage costs to ensure they align with budget targets. Conduct inventory audits (stock, beverages, supplies) and reconcile discrepancies. Analyze wastage, pilferage, and inefficiencies. Manage vendor invoices, payments, and supplier relationships. Track receivables from events, bookings, and corporate clients. Ensure timely payments and collections. Process payments. Ensure compliance with labor laws and tax regulations. Monitor staff cost ratios relative to revenue. Ensure compliance with local tax laws, VAT, and hospitality regulations. Prepare and file tax returns. Maintain accurate financial records for audits. Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts. Provide insights on cost-saving opportunities and revenue growth. Support management with financial planning. Implement and maintain financial controls to prevent fraud and errors. Monitor cash handling procedures and security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security. Ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum BSC.

Educational Background:
Minimum BSC.

Experience:
3 years of previous experience in a similar role.
