Job Description
Job Overview:
NewCare is building a new model for prescription care in Nigeria—one that connects clinical intent to fulfillment seamlessly across providers, HMOs, and pharmacies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Receive and input prescription details accurately into the system, support initial screening for completeness, flag issues for pharmacist review, coordinate with partner pharmacies, track orders, assist with verifying coverage details, support documentation for claims, help identify alternatives for out-of-stock medications, assist with patient communication, maintain accurate records, and follow SOPs for compliance.
Required Qualifications:
Certified Pharmacy Technician (recognized training program in Nigeria), 1–3+ years experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting, highly detail-oriented, organized, strong communication skills, comfortable using digital tools.
Educational Background:
Certified Pharmacy Technician from a recognized training program in Nigeria.
Experience:
1–3+ years experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting.
Languages:
English
Additional Notes:
Experience in high-volume pharmacy environments and familiarity with HMO workflows or claims processes are nice to have.
