Job Overview: Our Client, a top-rated, highly liquid and well-established Microfinance Bank, currently in the process of securing a National License, invites applications from suitably qualified, experienced and interested professionals to fill the key management position of Chief Finance Officer (CFO).
Duties and Responsibilities: The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial activities of the Bank. Duties include preparation of financial reports, regulatory reports, liaising with tax consultants and auditors, preparing economic outlooks, annual budget estimates, and reconciliation of interbank account balances.
Required Qualifications: Relevant professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, ACIB, or equivalent is mandatory. Postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
Educational Background: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
Experience: Minimum of eight years’ relevant experience in a similar role in a Microfinance.
