Job Overview: We are seeking a high-performing and strategic Zonal Head to lead business development, portfolio growth, and operational excellence across a defined region. This role requires a commercially astute leader with a strong track record in driving revenue, managing high-value relationships, and leading diverse teams to deliver sustainable performance.
Duties and Responsibilities: Implementation of commercial banking & state government strategy in Zone, Definition of marketing and sales strategies of commercial banking division, Development of Commercial Banking products and services, Management and maintenance of existing customer relationships and development of new customer relationships, Management of credit risk framework, Develop a customer management framework including customer insight driven marketing, Fund the bank with cheap liabilities, Provide on-the job training for Relationship Managers, Play Ambassadorial role in the region of operation, Prepare weekly reports for Group head, Achieve PCE, Balance and other performance target, Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Group Head, Supervise the implementation of CBD digital marketing strategy by teams in the Zone.
Required Qualifications: Good products knowledge, Excellent Customer Service / Relationship Management capabilities, Excellent Marketing / Selling skill, Strong strategic orientation, Good negotiation / presentation skills, Knowledge & understanding of commercial and public sector market, Good Oral & Written communication, Business to Business Digital marketing skill.
Educational Background: A good first degree in any discipline. Relevant Masters' degree will be an advantage.
Experience: Minimum of 12 years' experience in a bank with at least 6 years' experience in marketing at the minimum of Manager level.
Additional Notes: Professional Membership: A recognized professional certification will be an added advantage.
