Job Overview: A results-driven Sales Manager to lead and drive the Tissue & Hygiene Division’s market expansion across Ibadan.
Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets. Identify, onboard, and manage distributors and key partners. Drive customer acquisition and retention across assigned territories. Monitor market trends and competitor activities, and provide actionable insights. Ensure consistent market visits, field execution, and reporting. Manage and support field sales teams where applicable. Track performance against KPIs and implement corrective actions where necessary. Ensure product availability, pricing compliance, and visibility across assigned territories. Review stock levels and demand forecasts and support distributors with stock planning. Handle escalations from key retailers and trade partners. Oversee trade activations, marketing campaigns, and product launches in the field. Prepare weekly/monthly sales performance reports and recommend strategic actions.
Required Qualifications: OND/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in FMCG sales or a related industry with at least 1–2 years in field supervision. Proven experience in distribution and market expansion. Ability to manage multiple territories. Good knowledge of the Ibadan markets. Strong network of distributors, wholesalers, and retailers. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Strong analytical and territory planning abilities. Ability to travel frequently across multiple markets.
Educational Background: OND/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in FMCG sales or a related industry with at least 1–2 years in field supervision.
