Job Description
Job Overview:
The Stabilization Center Doctor will be responsible for all clinical aspects of the nutrition project at Nana Asma’u Stabilization Center in Yola, while also supporting other technical and administrative nutrition functions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide overall clinical leadership in the management of children with Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) with medical complications, conduct medical assessments, prescribe therapeutic feeding, monitor supplies, manage medical complications, ensure adherence to protocols, compile reports, and promote hygiene practices.

Required Qualifications:
Degree in Medicine and Surgery with a strong public health background; additional training in pediatrics, nutrition, or public health is an advantage.

Educational Background:
Degree in Medicine and Surgery from a recognized institution; master's in public health is an added advantage.

Experience:
Minimum of 2 years post NYSC experience in clinical medicine and public health; experience in supervising nutrition staff and managing nutrition programs in complex emergencies is preferred.

Languages:
Fluent in written/spoken English; ability to speak local languages such as Hausa is an added advantage.

Additional Notes:
Full professional competency in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to travel 5% of the time.
