Job Overview: The National Human Resources Assistant will perform a wide range of routine HR functions in support of the smooth and efficient programme delivery in the FAO Representation, ensuring consistency, timeliness and conformity with relevant FAO HR manuals, guidelines and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate the overall hiring plan for hiring of national and international affiliate workforce; Develop and/or review Terms of Reference of affiliate workforce; Coordinate and manage the publication of calls to attract candidates; Organize and facilitate the selection process; Manage the complete cycle of contracts in the Global Resource Management System; Supervise the validity of contracts; Provide administrative support; Collaborate in implementing actions to promote a respectful work environment; Facilitate knowledge exchange; Assist in the performance evaluation process; Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Required Qualifications: University degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Management or related fields; 2 years of relevant experience in Human Resources Management; Working knowledge of English (Level C).
Educational Background: University degree in Business Administration and Human Resources Management, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Management and other related fields.
Experience: 2 years of relevant experience in Human Resources Management.
Languages: Working knowledge (Level C) of English - written and spoken.
