Locum Pharmacist (Pharmaceutical Industry)
Job Description
Job Overview:
The Locum Pharmacist will be responsible for providing professional pharmaceutical services, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, accurate dispensing of medications, patient counseling, and maintaining pharmacy operations during assigned shifts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately, provide medication counseling, ensure compliance with PCN regulations, review prescriptions, maintain documentation and inventory controls, monitor drug storage conditions, support stock management, collaborate with pharmacy staff, uphold customer service standards, and ensure smooth handover of duties.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm or Pharm.D), fully licensed and registered Pharmacist with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm or Pharm.D).
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in community or retail pharmacy practice; prior experience in high-volume or regulated environments is an advantage.
Languages:
English
Additional Notes:
Flexible work schedule: 24 hours on and 48 hours off; Compensation - Base Pay is N250,000 Monthly net, plus other benefits.
