Social Media Manager

Job Overview:
IJAN Africa is a digital school based in Lagos, Nigeria, dedicated to shaping the future workforce by training and certifying young professionals in high-demand tech and non-tech digital skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for creating, curating, and managing all social media content to promote IJAN Africa's programs, engage audiences, and expand the organization's online presence. Key responsibilities include social media campaign planning, implementing social media strategies, monitoring analytics, optimizing posts for engagement, and collaborating with the marketing and creative teams to maintain a cohesive digital branding strategy.

Required Qualifications:
Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO), strong skills in Communication and Writing, experience in developing and executing Content Strategies, adaptability to stay updated with social media trends and tools, ability to analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies accordingly, experience with major platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter, strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple social accounts.

Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:
Experience in developing and executing Content Strategies and managing social media accounts.

Languages:
Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Lagos.
