Job Overview: The Senior Office Assistant provides administrative support to the country office, ensuring efficient service delivery and support services within the organizational environment.
Duties and Responsibilities: Screen and prioritize incoming correspondence, draft replies, assist in report preparation, provide administrative and financial support to Technical Cooperation activities, manage operating costs, support recruitment processes, and maintain filing systems.
Required Qualifications: A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant working experience in providing support to managerial/professional staff. Candidates with a first-level university degree must have at least five (5) years of relevant work experience.
Educational Background: Completed higher secondary education, high school diploma or equivalent is required. Formal administrative/secretarial/clerical training is desirable.
Experience: Experience in office procedures and practices, preferably within the UN system or in a multicultural environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with SAP or similar ERP software is desirable.
Languages: Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish is required. Knowledge of other UN official languages is desirable.
