Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Quantity Surveyor – Contracts Assurance to provide independent commercial oversight on major engineering and construction projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Review and certify contractor interim payment applications (IPAs), validate quantities against drawings, site progress, and BoQs, assess variations, change orders, and claims, ensure compliance with contract terms and agreed rates, monitor project costs and highlight risks and overruns, support resolution of payment disputes and commercial issues, prepare clear and defensible commercial reports.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field.
Experience:
13–20+ years experience in quantity surveying / cost engineering, contract administration and payment certification, strong experience with BoQ-based projects, contractor claims and variations, cost control and reporting, experience in infrastructure, industrial, or oil & gas projects.

Additional Notes:
Preferred Certifications: RICS, NIQS, or COREN; PMP (advantage); ISO 9001 Auditor or equivalent. Key Competencies: Strong understanding of FIDIC and standard contracts, high level of commercial and contractual awareness, ability to independently verify and challenge contractor submissions, strong reporting and stakeholder management skills.
