Job Overview: As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales performance within designated regions by leading and supporting a team of Medical Sales Representatives. This role oversees the implementation of sales strategies, manages customer relationships, ensures territory coverage and expansion, and supports the achievement of sales and collections targets.
Duties and Responsibilities: Sales & Performance Management: Achieve and exceed regional sales and collections targets through effective leadership and field supervision. Implement and adapt national sales strategies to fit regional market dynamics. Monitor and analyze sales trends, market share, competitor activities, and team performance. Conduct regular field visits to support Medical Sales Representatives and strengthen market presence. Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and motivate Medical Sales Representatives to achieve set goals. Conduct regular performance reviews, feedback sessions, and skills development activities. Ensure full compliance with the use of CRM tools for activity tracking and reporting. Manage team discipline, attendance, and performance in line with company policies. Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, healthcare professionals, distributors, and key opinion leaders in institutions. Support territory reps in negotiating supply agreements, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Represent the company in clinical meetings, product presentations, and industry events. Operational & Administrative: Ensure proper documentation and timely submission of sales reports, market feedback, and forecasts. Monitor stock movement, product availability, and distribution performance in the assigned region. Collaborate with the Franchise head to plan promotional activities, launches, and campaigns.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must reside within the above mentioned location before they can qualify for the role. Candidates must have a medical background i.e Pharmacy, pharmacology, Microbiology, Biochemistry or any related field.
Educational Background: Medical background in Pharmacy, pharmacology, Microbiology, Biochemistry or any related field.
Experience: Experience in sales management and team leadership is preferred.
