Job Overview: WaZhop is a fast growing digital marketplace and storefront platform built to empower African businesses. We provide tools and technology that help entrepreneurs expand their reach, streamline operations, and increase profitability.
Duties and Responsibilities: Identify and engage potential sellers (businesses & individuals), Present WaZhop’s platform and value proposition clearly, Convert leads into paying Pro and Premium subscribers, Support new sellers during onboarding, Build and maintain strong customer relationships, Meet and exceed sales targets, Collaborate with the team to improve sales strategies, Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales cycle.
Required Qualifications: Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills, Excellent communication and active listening ability, Customer focused mindset with relationship building skills, Self motivated and able to work independently, Understanding of digital platforms, eCommerce, or online selling, Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, remote environment, Experience with small to medium sized businesses is a plus.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
