Job Overview: The Key Account Executive will be responsible for managing, developing, and growing strategic relationships with key accounts across the Modern Trade and HORECA channels in Lagos Island and Mainland.
Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts across Modern Trade and HORECA channels in Lagos Island and Mainland. Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets across the product portfolio. Ensure optimal product availability, visibility, pricing, and merchandising standards across all assigned outlets. Plan and execute tailored trade marketing initiatives and promotional activities to drive volume and brand visibility. Collaborate closely with distributors and internal logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and consistent stock availability. Monitor competitor activities and provide actionable insights on pricing, promotions, and market trends. Negotiate trade terms, contracts, listings, and promotional agreements with key accounts. Track account performance and prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence updates. Conduct regular outlet staff training on product knowledge, brand positioning, and service standards. Ensure full compliance with company policies, brand guidelines, pricing structures, and merchandising standards.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in the FMCG or alcoholic beverage industry, with at least 2 years managing key accounts in Nigeria.
