Job Overview: The Project Officer will support the effective implementation of activities of the project titled 'Support to Improving Social Cohesion through Community Development Planning in 3 LGAs of Adamawa and Borno states.'
Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate and deliver approved project activities at LGA level, support local government authorities, build relationships with stakeholders, ensure integration of cross-cutting themes, track progress against project indicators, prepare reports, and provide guidance to partners.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, development studies, or a related field; a master’s degree is an added advantage.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, development studies, or a related field; a master’s degree is an added advantage.
Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in community development with strength in social cohesion or related fields; proven experience in working with communities and engaging diverse stakeholders.
Languages: Familiarity with local languages is desirable.
