Job Overview: The Marketing and PR Specialist will build the client's brand visibility, trust, and stakeholder engagement across Nigeria and internationally. This role drives awareness among donors, development partners, governments, and project innovators.
Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and execute marketing strategies that position our clients as a trusted funding transparency platform. Build brand identity, messaging, and storytelling. Manage website content, SEO, newsletters, and social media presence. Run paid and organic campaigns targeting donors, NGOs, CSR teams, and investors. Build relationships with media, journalists, and industry influencers. Secure interviews, speaking opportunities, draft press releases and public statements. Produce impact stories, donor success stories, project highlights, and thought leadership content. Coordinate campaigns around sustainability, innovation, and funding transparency. Promote TAG Africa at conferences, webinars, summits, and development forums.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or related field. Minimum 3 years’ experience in Marketing and Communications. Strong copywriting and media relations skills. Work experience in the technology sector, fintech, NGO, or startup ecosystem preferred. Strong knowledge of digital growth channels.
