Job Overview: Our client is a major player in Nigeria’s palm oil sector, supplying high-volume crude and refined palm oil to industrial clients across West Africa. We are seeking a results-driven B2B Sales & Marketing Manager with deep experience selling to manufacturers and processors who use palm oil as a raw material.
Duties and Responsibilities: Develop & execute B2B sales strategy targeting industrial buyers in FMCG, cosmetics, soap & detergent, food processing, biodiesel, and oleo chemicals. Identify, prospect, and close large-volume contracts with manufacturers, processors, and distributors. Build and manage key accounts – maintain strong relationships with procurement heads, plant managers, and C-suite buyers. Market intelligence: Track pricing trends, competitor activity, import dynamics, and regulatory changes affecting industrial palm oil demand. Lead generation & pipeline management: Drive outbound sales, attend industry expos, and leverage networks to open new markets. Collaborate with production & logistics to ensure supply commitments, quality specs, and delivery timelines are met. Develop marketing materials and technical datasheets tailored to industrial clients. Achieve monthly/quarterly volume and revenue targets; report on forecasts, sales pipeline, and market share.
Required Qualifications: Minimum 6 years of B2B sales/marketing experience, with at least 4 years in commodities, agro-processing, edible oils, or industrial raw materials. Proven track record selling to manufacturers/processors – must have existing relationships in food, cosmetics, or soap manufacturing sectors. Strong understanding of palm oil grades, RSPO standards, industrial applications, and bulk logistics. Excellent negotiation & contract management skills for high-value, long-term supply deals. Data-driven: Able to analyze market pricing, demand cycles, and prepare commercial proposals. Willingness to travel across Nigeria and West Africa for client meetings and site visits.
Educational Background: B.Sc/HND in Marketing, Business, Agriculture, Food Tech, or related field. An MBA is an advantage.
Experience: Minimum 6 years of B2B sales/marketing experience, with at least 4 years in commodities, agro-processing, edible oils, or industrial raw materials.
