Job Overview: The role is a combination of a sales function and product delivery, requiring the individual to onboard clients onto Visa Commercial Solutions for Small Business, Middle Market, and Large Clients, supporting market development activities in West Africa and Ghana.
Duties and Responsibilities: Work with the Business Development team to develop and execute strategies to increase payments volume and secure long-term revenue with Key Issuers and other key partnerships. Collaborate with peers and partners to build commercial solutions. Focus on driving new purchase volume and revenue with Visa commercial issuers across all groups. Develop and support strategies to capitalize on emerging customer needs and marketplace trends. Collaborate with Visa Commercial Solutions Hub team on new product development and industry events. Contribute to the annual business account plan for assigned clients. Demonstrate knowledge of Visa products and services. Engage with colleagues across Visa. Develop and implement annual goals and plans. Utilize a consultative sales approach. Analyze business opportunities to increase volume and share. Travel as required. Foster a sales & performance mindset across Visa. Enable and upskill client-facing teams. Deliver the VCS West Africa and Ghana Multi-year Strategic Outlook growth and revenue aspirations.
Required Qualifications: 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree or 2 years of work experience with a PhD. 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 8 to 10 years experience in business development and product management in financial technology or payments industry, with experience in Commercial Card Issuing & Acquiring, Transaction Banking Solutions, and SME banking preferred.
Additional Notes: This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
