Job Overview: The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for promoting and selling technical products and solutions to industrial clients. The role requires a strong scientific background combined with the ability to identify customer needs, present solutions, and close deals.
Duties and Responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities in the industrial and manufacturing sectors; Promote and sell chemical-based products, laboratory solutions, or industrial materials; Provide technical presentations and product demonstrations to clients; Understand customer requirements and recommend tailored solutions; Prepare proposals, quotations, and sales reports; Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients; Collaborate with technical teams to meet customer specifications; Conduct market research and track competitor activities; Achieve and exceed sales targets.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in any of the following: Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry; Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development; Experience in chemical, manufacturing, oil & gas, or related industries is a plus; Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; Ability to understand and explain technical concepts clearly; Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets; Willingness to travel for client meetings.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development; Experience in chemical, manufacturing, oil & gas, or related industries is a plus.
