Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR policies, recruitment processes, onboarding, and performance evaluations. Manage attendance, leave, disciplinary actions, and staff records. Identify training needs and support staff development. Conduct employment checks, issue contracts, and maintain compliance with regulations. Handle grievances and investigations in line with school policies. Coordinate daily administrative operations, scheduling, correspondence, and official documentation. Oversee school calendar, newsletters, notices, and management meetings. Manage accurate data entry, reporting, and record-keeping systems (e.g., LASGEMS). Liaise with the Ministry of Education and external stakeholders. Supervise maintenance of school buildings, grounds, buses, and equipment. Oversee janitorial and security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security teams, ensuring a safe, clean environment. Manage preventive maintenance programmes and contractor work. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and emergency procedures. Organise major school events, including concerts, graduations, sports day, and theme days. Coordinate logistics for special programs, student trips, and community engagement activities. Support staff social events and end-of-year activities. Manage departmental budget and purchasing of supplies, equipment, and maintenance services. Ensure cost-effective procurement and stock control.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in administration, management, education, or a related field.

Bachelor’s degree in administration, management, education, or a related field.

Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in school administration or a similar role.

Languages:
English

Additional Notes:
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Proficiency with administrative software and data systems. Knowledge of HR processes and school regulatory compliance. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when needed. High professional and ethical standards. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively. Team player with a proactive, hands-on approach. Remuneration: NGN 250,000 Monthly.
