Job Description
Job Overview:
The Project Officer MEAL will be responsible for all MEAL related activities including monitoring project indicators, elaboration of M&E tools, conducting assessments, beneficiary database management, and reporting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Facilitate SMILER workshop, lead nutrition assessments, track project performance, manage beneficiary databases, conduct baseline studies, perform monitoring surveys, analyze market data, ensure evaluations are timely, elaborate M&E tools, promote ICT4D solutions, manage feedback systems, support data entry questionnaire development, train enumerators, supervise data collection, maintain IT equipment, share lessons learned, and compile beneficiary data.
Required Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to maintain confidentiality, work under pressure, commitment to gender-responsive programming, attention to detail, proactive and results-oriented, understanding of protection responsibilities, team-oriented, and strong communication skills.
Experience:
Demonstrated experience in MEAL, database management, and familiarity with GIS and GPS technology.
Languages:
Fluency in English and Hausa; proficiency in other local languages is desirable.
Additional Notes:
Must be willing to travel up to 20% of the time.
