Job Overview:
Kora is the marketplace for everything payments, offering a robust payment API for payment collections, disbursements, and conversions for businesses anywhere in Africa. We aim to create a world void of digital financial barriers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the frontend and backend engineering direction for innovation projects, build and improve full-stack applications, translate product ideas into technical plans, coordinate engineers, define technical architecture, support rapid prototyping, review code, ensure product quality, explore emerging technologies, and mentor engineers.
Required Qualifications:
Strong experience as a Full-Stack Engineer, good frontend experience with tools such as React, Next.js, Vue, or similar frameworks, good backend experience with Node.js, experience building APIs and integrations, understanding of databases, experience with cloud platforms, strong understanding of software architecture, and strong communication skills.

Experience in AI, automation, blockchain, fintech, payments, or SaaS products is preferred, along with experience leading MVPs and working with cross-functional teams.
