Job Description
Job Overview:
The Project Officer-MEAL will be responsible for all MEAL related activities including monitoring project indicators, conducting assessments, managing beneficiary databases, and compiling reports.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Facilitate SMILER workshop, lead nutrition assessments, track project performance, manage beneficiary databases, conduct monitoring surveys, analyze project data, ensure timely evaluations, develop M&E tools, promote ICT4D solutions, manage feedback systems, train enumerators, and compile beneficiary data.
Required Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to maintain confidentiality, strong facilitation skills, ability to work under pressure, commitment to gender-responsive programming, attention to detail, proactive and results-oriented.
Educational Background:
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Information and Technology Management, Statistics or relevant equivalent degree
Experience:
At least 4 years full-time experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning, preferably with an international NGO.
Languages:
Fluency in English and Hausa; proficiency in other local languages is desirable.
Additional Notes:
Must be willing to travel up to 20% of the time to field locations.
