Duties and Responsibilities: The Social Media Manager will oversee the agency's social media strategies to build engagement, grow brand presence, and achieve strategic objectives. Responsibilities include creating content calendars, managing multiple social media accounts, optimizing content for various platforms, monitoring performance metrics, and collaborating with the creative and communications teams.
Required Qualifications: Expertise in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO), Strong Communication and Writing skills for engaging and effective messaging, Proficiency in developing and executing Content Strategies tailored to different platforms and audiences, Experience with analytics tools to monitor social media metrics and optimize performance, Ability to stay updated on social media trends, industry news, and emerging platforms, Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, Experience with crisis communication and reputation management is a plus.
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Experience with analytics tools to monitor social media metrics and optimize performance.
Languages: Strong Communication and Writing skills for engaging and effective messaging.
Additional Notes: This is a full-time hybrid role, based in Lagos with some flexibility for remote work, and requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and strategic thinking.
