Job Overview:
Glitch Africa is building one of Africa’s most influential media, music, and culture platforms—and we’re looking for a Senior Social Media Manager to lead our digital voice, audience growth, and cultural relevance across the continent and beyond.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead Glitch Africa’s social media strategy across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, X, and emerging platforms. Drive audience growth, engagement, retention, and digital impact. Oversee content rollouts for podcasts, live performances, original shows, artist campaigns, and branded content. Work closely with artists, talent, creators, and internal teams. Lead reporting, analytics, performance optimization, and strategic insights. Mentor junior team members and help build systems that scale.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years experience in social media, digital content, or audience growth. Strong understanding of music, entertainment, internet culture, and African audiences. Experience working with artists, creators, media brands, or entertainment platforms. Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and analytical skills. Existing relationships with platform partners is a plus.
