Job Overview:
The State Team Lead (Kaduna) has overall programmatic management responsibility for the delivery of the Lafiya programme in the State, ensuring that programme objectives and deliverables are met in accordance with client reporting requirements and programme TORs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for programme delivery and oversight, team management and leadership, and stakeholder management. This includes technical and financial management, preparation of strategic plans, monitoring implementation progress, managing the state team, and representing the programme at key state level fora.
Required Qualifications:
Master’s Degree or higher in Public Health, Policy and Governance, Health Economics, or other relevant field required. Progressive years of experience in a Senior Programme Management capacity, proven technical experience in health systems strengthening, and strong interpersonal skills.
Educational Background:
Master’s Degree or higher in relevant fields such as Public Health, Policy and Governance, or Health Economics.
Experience:
Progressive years of experience in a Senior Programme Management capacity including experience designing, implementing, and managing or evaluating complex health programmes.
Languages:
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills in English required; working knowledge of Hausa and other local languages preferred.
