Job Description
Job Overview:
The Technical Sales Engineer will serve as the bridge between Marshal's technical capabilities and its client base, with a primary focus on the oil and gas sector. The role combines hands-on technical expertise with commercial acumen to drive business growth, manage bid processes, and support the delivery of maintenance services for oil and gas facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Technical Bid Management: Preparation, review, and submission of technical bids and tenders for oil & gas procurement and maintenance contracts; Conduct detailed analysis of tender documents, specifications, drawings, and Bills of Quantities (BoQ); Prepare and coordinate technical documentation including method statements, QA/QC, technical proposals, and compliance matrices; Liaise with estimating and procurement teams to ensure commercially competitive and technically compliant bids. Sales & Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities primarily in the oil & gas and other sectors; Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, IOCs, NOCs, EPCs, and facility management companies; Present technical solutions and company capabilities to prospective clients; Track industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform the sales strategy. Oil & Gas Facility Maintenance Services: Support the delivery and commercialisation of maintenance services for onshore and offshore oil & gas facilities; Coordinate with operations teams to ensure maintenance programmes meet client specifications and regulatory requirements; Monitor contract execution and serve as technical point of contact during project delivery.

Required Qualifications:
B.Sc. / B.Eng. in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline (minimum Second Class Upper); Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. NSE, COREN) is an advantage.

Educational Background:
B.Sc. / B.Eng. in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline (minimum Second Class Upper).

Experience:
Minimum 4 years' experience in technical sales, bid management, or project engineering — preferably in oil & gas or construction; Proven track record in preparing and winning competitive technical bids and tenders; Experience with oil & gas facility maintenance, inspection, or integrity management is highly desirable.
