Job Overview:
Vantage is a globally recognized multi-asset brokerage firm headquartered in Sydney, operating under the oversight of reputable regulatory authorities. We offer trading opportunities in CFDs for Forex, Commodities, Indices, Shares, and Cryptocurrencies.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead in conducting in-depth market research specific to the CFD brokerage industry, analyzing trends, competitor strategies, and regulatory shifts to inform business decisions. Oversee a team in gathering and interpreting complex financial data related to CFD trading, producing accurate and actionable research reports. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to translate research findings into strategic product development and marketing initiatives tailored to our CFD brokerage services. Stay updated on global financial markets, especially those relevant to CFDs, and provide timely insights to support senior management’s decision-making processes. Achieve Core Revenue Drivers with Education led efforts- contributing to Net and Traded Volume. Present research outcomes in clear, concise formats to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the company’s financial goals in the CFD brokerage space. Identify emerging opportunities in the CFD market through continuous research, and propose innovative solutions to enhance our competitive edge. Manage and maintain databases of research materials, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for all relevant teams within the CFD brokerage division.

Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, with a focus on financial markets or derivatives. Minimum of 3-5 years leading research in the CFD brokerage industry, including direct management of research teams. Nice to have- Expertise in advanced financial modeling (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters), statistical analysis (Python/R), and regulatory frameworks. Proven ability to analyze trends in African and global CFD markets, with specific understanding of regional regulatory environments (e.g., FSCA). Experience managing large-scale databases (SQL, Excel) with a focus on data integrity and accessibility for research purposes. Track record of producing actionable reports for senior stakeholders, with proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI). History of partnering with product, marketing, and compliance teams to translate research into strategic initiatives. Up-to-date knowledge of global CFD regulations, including emerging trends in African financial markets. Excellent written and verbal skills to present complex findings to diverse audiences. Ability to identify emerging opportunities in the CFD market and propose innovative solutions to enhance competitive advantage.

Educational Background:
Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, with a focus on financial markets or derivatives.

Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years leading research in the CFD brokerage industry, including direct management of research teams.
