Job Overview: We are seeking a junior operations manager to support the day-to-day execution of logistics, procurement, and project coordination tasks. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to manage operational workflows, physical assets, and on-the-ground activities in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities: Support the general manager in tracking and delivering ongoing client and internal projects. Maintain project timelines, document updates, and ensure milestone follow-ups. Liaise with internal staff and external vendors to ensure smooth operational flow. Maintain accurate records of company property, including MiFi devices, uniforms, gadgets, and operational tools. Oversee the distribution and retrieval of company assets to and from staff, clients, and vendors. Conduct inventory counts and coordinate procurement of replacements or new supplies. Assist with daily logistics planning, service coordination, and deployment of personnel or assets. Monitor daily operational issues and resolve or escalate as necessary. Coordinate movement logistics, including transport, delivery scheduling, and field support. Record project expenses, liaise with finance for reimbursement processing, and ensure operational spend accountability. Prepare reports, checklists, and summaries for ongoing projects or asset usage. Ensure that all operational documents, forms, and logs are up-to-date and filed appropriately. Attend the office at least 3 times per week for team coordination and asset checks. Be available for ad-hoc field visits to supervise deployments or retrieve company property as required.
Required Qualifications: 1–3 years’ experience in an operations, logistics, or project support role. Strong time management and organisational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting tools. Ability to multitask and adapt to fast-changing operational demands. High level of integrity, accountability, and discretion when handling company property and information. Willingness to occasionally assist with event or logistics operations in the field.
