Job Overview: We are seeking a talented and creative Architect for furniture projects with expertise in furniture design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing kitchens, wardrobes, wall panels, and more. This role involves producing line drawings, 3D renderings, and detailed production cut lists.
Duties and Responsibilities: Design custom furniture solutions, including kitchens, wardrobes, wall panels, and other interior elements. Produce detailed line drawings, ensuring precision and clarity for production teams. Create high-quality 3D renderings to bring design concepts to life and present them to clients. Develop comprehensive production cut lists, ensuring materials are accurately specified for manufacturing. Collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Stay updated on the latest design trends, materials, and technologies in the furniture industry. Conduct site visits as necessary to ensure design specifications are being adhered to during installation. Ensure all designs meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field. Proven experience in furniture design, particularly in kitchens, wardrobes, and interior wall panels. Proficiency in architectural and design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or equivalent. Strong skills in 3D rendering and visualization tools (e.g., 3ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion, or equivalent). Experience in producing detailed production cut lists and understanding of manufacturing processes. Excellent technical drawing skills and the ability to translate concepts into detailed designs. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Exceptional creativity and a passion for creating functional yet aesthetically pleasing designs. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in furniture design, particularly in kitchens, wardrobes, and interior wall panels.
Languages: English
Additional Notes: Full Time - 9 to 5, Entry level, 2 years experience required.
