Job Overview:
BPL Nigeria Limited is a battery recycling and lead production company seeking an experienced and senior Cost & Payables Accountant to manage the Finance Accounts function at the operational level.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate cost records, prepare COGS analysis, analyze costs, monitor production efficiency, manage accounts payable, ensure compliance with internal controls, supervise junior staff, and support financial reporting.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or in progress) is an added advantage.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Experience:
Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in cost accounting and accounts payable within a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory capacity.
Languages:
English
Additional Notes:
Hands-on experience with ERP systems; Odoo experience is a significant advantage.
