Job Description
Job Overview:
The Ashoka Anglophone West Africa office is seeking a motivated volunteer to support the implementation of the CTEACH programme by coordinating, providing operational assistance, and engaging stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The volunteer will work closely with the CTEACH team to strengthen programme delivery, teacher engagement, documentation, and internal communications. Responsibilities include programme coordination and activity tracking, teacher follow-ups and community engagement, documentation, reporting, internal communications, light research on education trends and partnerships, and performing other tasks as required to support the effective delivery of the CTEACH programme.

Required Qualifications:
Self-motivation and a strong entrepreneurial spirit, desire to cause systemic change and gain experience in the social entrepreneurship sector, proficiency in Microsoft 365 and fluent English (written and spoken), strong organisational and communication skills, ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and pay attention to detail, ability to work independently and in a creative, collaborative team environment.

Educational Background:
Background as an undergraduate or graduate in Education, Social Sciences, or a related field, or a strong interest in learning and social impact.

Experience:
No specific experience required, but a strong interest in social entrepreneurship is desired.

English

Additional Notes:
This is an unpaid, volunteer opportunity. Estimated hours required per week: 10-20 hours per week. The estimated duration of the project is 3-6 months. This position requires being on-site periodically in Lagos Nigeria but also allows for some work to be completed virtually. The office can provide amenities to volunteers such as Internet.
