Job Overview: We are a leading international facility management services group delivering integrated solutions across maintenance, industrial cleaning, trading & consultancy, healthcare support services, and the manufacturing and distribution of equipment and chemicals. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a high-performing, detail-oriented and competent Accountant to strengthen our finance function and support business decision-making across multiple operational areas.
Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and management reports; Maintain and manage the fixed asset register and reporting; Oversee branch, project, and subsidiary accounts; Lead costing and pricing analysis to support business development and sales; Provide management accounting insights for decision-making; Manage payroll processing and compliance; Oversee procurement and accounts payable processes; Manage accounts receivable, credit control, and collections; Supervise inventory systems and controls; Conduct and reconcile regular stock counts; Ensure full compliance with all statutory tax obligations (CIT, VAT, WHT, PAYE, etc.); Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns; Manage tax planning and optimisation to enhance efficiency; Liaise with tax authorities and manage tax audits and assessments; Monitor changes in tax regulations and ensure company-wide compliance.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (First Class or minimum 2:1) or related discipline; ACA or equivalent professional qualification (mandatory); Minimum of 7 years post-qualification experience; Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software; Experience in bid writing or commercial proposals is an advantage; Strong knowledge of industry practices and emerging trends.
