Job Overview:
Ismora Technologies builds software for Africa's hardest problems, focusing on creating aesthetically pleasing and functional products that address serious issues faced by African businesses.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Own design at Ismora from the ground up, building a design system from scratch, conducting user research, creating wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma, implementing UI components in code, and setting visual and interaction standards for all products.
Required Qualifications:
Deep Figma proficiency, strong understanding of UX principles, ability to build a design system from zero, frontend implementation skills (HTML, CSS, Tailwind, basic React/Next.js), experience designing for web and mobile, eye for motion and micro-interactions, ability to push back on product decisions when UX is wrong.
