Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Support engineer with experience in PHP and Laravel to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues within our applications, ensuring optimal system performance and minimal downtime.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for web applications built with PHP (Laravel framework). Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs, errors, and system issues in a timely manner. Work closely with the development team to identify root causes and implement fixes. Monitor application performance and suggest improvements where necessary. Handle support tickets, document issues, and track resolutions. Perform basic code debugging, testing, and validation before deployment. Assist in maintaining system stability, security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security, and performance. Support API integrations and resolve related issues. Maintain proper documentation of technical processes, issues, and solutions. Provide feedback to improve system functionality and user experience.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of OND, HND, or BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience working with PHP and the Laravel framework. Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Familiarity with MySQL or other relational databases. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Ability to debug and troubleshoot code efficiently. Understanding of RESTful APIs and integrations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Educational Background:
Minimum of OND, HND, or BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Experience:
Proven experience working with PHP and the Laravel framework, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
