Job Description
Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer that will support their sales initiatives by delivering technical expertise and solutions to clients in the Oil & Gas, industrial, FMCG and construction sectors.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Technical Knowledge & Product Mastery: Develop and maintain a strong technical understanding of the client’s engineering products, systems, and services. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to effectively communicate the client’s value proposition. Continuously enhance technical competence to support complex client requirements across Oil & Gas, industrial, FMCG, and construction sectors. 2. Business Development & Sales Support: Assist in identifying and developing new business opportunities within target markets. Support the Senior Technical Sales Engineer in preparing and delivering technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution proposals. Contribute to achieving individual and team sales targets and overall revenue growth. Maintain accurate sales activity records in CRM and support pipeline tracking. 3. Client Engagement & Technical Advisory: Engage with clients to understand their technical requirements, operational challenges, and project objectives. Provide accurate technical guidance and recommend appropriate engineering solutions. Translate complex engineering concepts into clear, client-friendly explanations. Support client meetings, site visits, and technical discussions as required. 4. Pre-Sales & Post-Sales Technical Support: Provide pre-sales technical assistance, including product selection, solution design input, and feasibility assessment. Offer post-sales technical support such as troubleshooting, product recommendations, and implementation guidance. Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of delivered solutions. 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Documentation: Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible, cost-effective, and deliverable within timelines. Support preparation of client proposals, technical documentation, quotations, and reports. Ensure all technical submissions meet quality and compliance standards.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or relevant field) or equivalent experience. Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in technical sales, pre-sales engineering, or similar roles in Oil & Gas, industrial, or construction sectors. Strong technical aptitude and ability to translate complex engineering solutions into client-friendly explanations. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.

Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or relevant field) or equivalent experience.

Experience:
Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in technical sales, pre-sales engineering, or similar roles in Oil & Gas, industrial, or construction sectors.
