Job Overview: The Head of Brand & Communications is a strategic leadership role responsible for building, managing, and scaling a unified brand narrative across multiple business units (SaaS, B2B, and EdTech). This role ensures consistency in messaging while tailoring communication strategies to distinct audiences, markets, and products.
Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Brand Strategy & Positioning: Develop and execute a cohesive brand strategy, define brand architecture, ensure brand consistency, lead brand refreshes. 2. Integrated Communications Leadership: Design multi-channel communications strategy, oversee external and internal communications, manage corporate messaging. 3. Content & Storytelling: Build compelling narratives, oversee content strategy, elevate storytelling. 4. Brand Performance & Analytics: Establish brand health metrics, measure impact of initiatives, optimize messaging. 5. Cross-Business Alignment: Partner with teams across business units, support product launches and key initiatives. 6. Employer Brand & Culture: Develop employer brand, align internal storytelling with company values. 7. Team Leadership & Vendor Management: Build and lead a brand and communications team, manage external agencies, establish processes.
Required Qualifications: 8–12+ years of experience in Brand, Communications, or Marketing roles, with leadership experience. Proven track record of building and scaling brands across multiple products or business units. Strong expertise in PR, content strategy, and digital communications. Data-driven mindset with the ability to connect brand efforts to business outcomes. Excellent storytelling, writing, and presentation skills. Experience managing agencies and cross-functional stakeholders.
