Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategically minded Management Accountant to join the leadership team. In this role, you will drive financial planning, cost optimization, and management reporting to support informed decision-making across production, procurement, and sales.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow analysis. Develop and maintain product costing models and manufacturing overhead allocations. Monitor raw material inventory, work-in-progress, and finished goods valuations. Conduct variance analysis (material, labor, and overhead) and provide actionable insights to production managers. Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning. Evaluate capital expenditure proposals and assess return on investment for new equipment or production lines. Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax regulations (VAT, WHT, CIT) and coordinate with external auditors. Implement and refine internal controls to safeguard company assets and reduce production waste. Partner with operations and supply chain teams to improve cost efficiency without compromising quality.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; an ICAN or ACCA qualification is highly preferred. Minimum of 4 years of experience in management accounting, preferably within manufacturing, textiles, or FMCG. Solid understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory management in a production environment. Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Sage, or QuickBooks) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate financial data into operational recommendations. Excellent communication skills and the confidence to present to senior leadership. High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced factory environment.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; an ICAN or ACCA qualification is highly preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in management accounting, preferably within manufacturing, textiles, or FMCG.

Working Hours: Full Time - 9 to 5. Remuneration: NGN 500,000 – 700,000.
