Duties and Responsibilities: The Investment & Business Development Manager will serve as Afrihood’s strategic lead in securing capital, developing investment products, managing investor relationships, and driving sales growth across our real estate and infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities include fundraising, investment strategy, investor relations, financial products and sales, sales and marketing, investment management, market research, compliance, risk and governance, and cross-functional team leadership.
Required Qualifications: Minimum of 7 years’ experience in investment management, fundraising, private equity, or business development (preferably in real estate or infrastructure). Proven success in raising capital, managing investor relations, and closing investment deals. Strong understanding of financial instruments, markets, and regulatory frameworks. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Analytical mindset with proficiency in financial modeling and market research.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred). Professional certification (e.g., CFA, ACCA, or SEC registration) is a strong advantage.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years’ experience in investment management, fundraising, private equity, or business development (preferably in real estate or infrastructure).
