Job Description
Job Overview:
The Head, Affluent Banking will lead the strategy, development, and growth of the Bank’s affluent segment, focusing on delivering bespoke, Sharia-compliant financial solutions to high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive affluent banking strategy aligned with the Bank’s overall objectives; Drive acquisition of high-value clients and expand the Bank’s affluent client base; Design and promote tailored, Sharia-compliant financial solutions; Drive deposit mobilization and portfolio growth within the affluent segment; Build, lead, and mentor a team of relationship managers and wealth advisors; Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and non-interest banking principles.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (MBA or relevant postgraduate degree is an advantage); Minimum of 6-8 years’ experience in banking, with at least 3–4 years in wealth management, private banking, or affluent banking; Proven track record managing HNI/UHNI client portfolios and delivering revenue growth; Strong understanding of investment products, portfolio management, and advisory services; Experience in non-interest/Islamic banking is an advantage, but not mandatory.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (MBA or relevant postgraduate degree is an advantage)
Experience:
Minimum of 6-8 years’ experience in banking, with at least 3–4 years in wealth management, private banking, or affluent banking
