Job Overview: We are seeking a proactive and result-driven Business Development - Regional Manager, to support regional operations, drive sales performance, and ensure the effective management of Business Development teams within the region.
Duties and Responsibilities: Drive sales growth by ensuring sales targets are met and exceeded within the region. Ensure alignment of all Business Development teams with company goals, productivity standards, and performance targets. Support the recruitment and expansion of the Business Developer (BD) workforce by attracting and onboarding quality talent. Coordinate regional meetings, prepare reports, and oversee operational activities within the region. Conduct field visits to monitor team performance, operational efficiency, and compliance with company policies. Support the implementation of regional sales strategies and initiatives. Review and analyze regional sales performance and customer repayment trends to ensure a low default rate and prompt repayments. Carry out any other duties assigned by management.
Required Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Business Development, or a related role. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a position like Regional Manager, Deputy Regional Manager, or State Manager. Proven ability to manage field operations and coordinate multiple teams effectively. Experience managing large teams (50+ personnel) is highly desirable. Good sales performance and track record of meeting targets. Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills. (Prior experience in the fintech industry is an added advantage)
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Business Development, or a related role. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a position like Regional Manager, Deputy Regional Manager, or State Manager.
