Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Plant Utility Coordinator to oversee the planning, coordination, and reliability of all utility systems within our manufacturing facility.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities for all plant utility systems. Monitor the performance, availability, and efficiency of utility equipment to ensure uninterrupted plant operations. Coordinate maintenance activities across teams to minimize downtime and production impact. Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports, including work orders and spare parts usage. Ensure optimal operation and basic troubleshooting of the following systems: Boilers (steam generation systems), Chillers (process and comfort cooling systems), Air compressors (compressed air systems), AHUs and HVAC systems, Diesel and gas generators. Liaise with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and service activities. Ensure proper spare parts planning and inventory control for utility systems. Implement and enforce safety procedures and compliance with operational standards. Support energy efficiency initiatives and monitor utility consumption trends. Participate in shutdown planning and execution for utility systems.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in utility operations or maintenance within a manufacturing or process plant. Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and coordination practices. Practical understanding of industrial utility systems (boilers, chillers, compressors, HVAC, generators). Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is an added advantage. Good organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and teams effectively. Must be willing to relocate to Ibeju-Lekki.

Educational Background:
Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.

Experience:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in utility operations or maintenance within a manufacturing or process plant.
