Job Overview: Duplo is a Lagos-based fintech startup that enables businesses in Africa to automate their spend management, simplify cross-border payments, and control business finances all on one platform.
Duties and Responsibilities: Own and execute Duplo’s paid acquisition strategy across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), LinkedIn, and X (Twitter). Plan, launch, and optimize campaigns focused on high-quality lead generation, demos, and customer acquisition. Manage full-funnel performance, from impression to click to signup to activation. Develop and implement retargeting strategies across platforms to improve conversion rates and reduce CAC. Continuously optimize campaigns through A/B testing (copy, audiences, creatives, landing pages). Build and manage audience segmentation strategies, including lookalikes, custom lists, and ABM targeting. Collaborate with the design and content team to brief high-performing ad creatives and messaging angles. Optimize landing pages and conversion paths to improve conversion rates and user journey efficiency. Monitor and report on key performance metrics, including CPL, CAC, ROAS, conversion rates, and pipeline contribution. Set up and manage tracking, attribution, and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, etc.). Identify new growth opportunities across channels, formats, and markets (Nigeria & expansion regions). Align paid efforts with broader GTM initiatives, including events, partnerships, PR, and product launches. Own performance reporting and provide clear insights and actionable recommendations to the team.
Required Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years experience in performance marketing / paid media, preferably in fintech, SaaS, or B2B tech space. Proven track record of managing and scaling campaigns across Google, Meta, LinkedIn and Twitter/X. Strong understanding of B2B marketing funnels, lead generation, and conversion optimization. Hands-on experience with retargeting, audience building, and lifecycle marketing. Great analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into growth actions. Experience with marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, attribution tools, etc.). Strong knowledge of landing page optimization and CRO principles. Ability to manage budgets efficiently and drive measurable ROI. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and product teams. Self-starter mindset with the ability to take full ownership and drive results independently.
