Security Engineer

Job Overview:
We are hiring a security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Security Engineer to protect Joveo's platform, data, and infrastructure against evolving threats. You will embed security into every layer of our engineering stack — from application code to cloud configuration — building systems that are secure by design, not by retrofit.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct threat modeling, security reviews, and vulnerability assessments. Implement and maintain application security controls across backend and frontend systems. Manage cloud security posture — IAM policies, network segmentation, secrets management. Build and operate security monitoring, alerting, and incident response capabilities. Integrate security tooling into CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning). Drive security awareness and best practices across engineering teams.

Required Qualifications:
Strong experience in application and/or cloud security engineering. Proficiency with security tools — SAST/DAST scanners, WAFs, SIEM platforms. Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and common vulnerability classes. Experience securing cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure security services). Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR). Ability to communicate security risk clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
