Job Overview: The Talent Manager is responsible for designing and delivering integrated talent strategies that support performance excellence, career development, leadership readiness, and organizational effectiveness.
Duties and Responsibilities: Monitor and promote the organization’s culture; Design, implement, and improve performance management framework; Manage HR annual budget; Partner with leaders for performance evaluations; Support managers with feedback and coaching; Use performance data for development and rewards; Oversee training strategy; Evaluate talent using the 9-box grid; Develop career frameworks; Facilitate talent reviews; Lead recruitment and workforce planning; Support employer branding; Manage relationships with external recruiters; Develop succession plans; Assess readiness and bench strength; Align succession plans with development strategies; Support organizational design; Lead change management initiatives; Drive culture and engagement initiatives; Leverage engagement data for OD interventions; Ensure alignment with policies and regulations; Manage talent systems; Track and report key talent metrics; Continuously improve talent processes.
Required Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years HR experience; 6+ years in talent management, performance management, Learning & Development, or Organizational Design roles; Strong consulting, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills; Performance management framework design experience; Succession planning expertise; Change management capability; Data-driven decision-making; Experience with HRIS, LMS, and talent management systems.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Business, or related field; Master’s degree in related field; Membership of a related professional body (e.g., CIPM, PHRI, SHRM).
Experience: Experience supporting technical or operational workforces (energy, industrial, or services preferred industries).
