Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Project Lead/Manager to drive end-to-end delivery of oil & gas and energy infrastructure projects. The role requires strong technical depth across design, construction, and commissioning, combined with proven project leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
Duties and Responsibilities: Lead E&I engineering and construction activities across project lifecycle (Concept, FEED, Detailed Design, Construction, Commissioning). Manage project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution to meet cost, quality, and timeline targets. Provide technical oversight and review of engineering deliverables (drawings, datasheets, specifications, MTOs, etc.). Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams (engineering, procurement, construction). Ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications (API, IEC, IEEE, ASME, etc.). Drive HSE compliance, risk assessments (HAZOP, HAZID), and quality assurance processes. Oversee construction, installation, and commissioning activities onsite. Manage client relationships, contractors, and vendors, ensuring alignment and timely issue resolution. Lead resource planning, team supervision, and mentoring of junior engineers. Prepare and review technical and commercial bids, project reports, and performance tracking.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Postgraduate qualification is an advantage). Minimum 15+ years of experience in E&I engineering within oil & gas or energy sector. At least 5–8 years in leadership roles (Project Manager, Construction Lead, Engineering Manager). Proven experience across offshore and onshore projects, greenfield and brownfield developments, EPC project environments. Strong exposure to design, installation, commissioning, and asset integrity.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Postgraduate qualification is an advantage).
Experience: Minimum 15+ years of experience in E&I engineering within oil & gas or energy sector. At least 5–8 years in leadership roles (Project Manager, Construction Lead, Engineering Manager).

Additional Notes: Expertise in electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems. Proficiency in engineering tools: AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM, Primavera, MS Project. Strong knowledge of engineering standards (IEC, API, IEEE, ISO, etc.) and project controls (CTR, man-hours estimation, budgeting). COREN registered (or equivalent) and member of NSE/NIEEE (or relevant bodies).
