Job Overview:
Susciety is a growing sustainability firm supporting clients to deliver integrated environmental and social Impact Engineering across Africa. We are seeking a Business developer to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead proposal development and submission processes, identify and track relevant opportunities, manage the bidding processes, prepare and submit technical and commercial tenders and contracts, ensure compliance with procurement laws, conduct needs assessments of clients’ business operations, prepare and present Susciety’s services to clients, understand clients technical and commercial requirements, ensure timely preparation and submission of tenders, identify and propose solutions to accelerate business growth, engage consultants and project partners, develop and maintain strategic partnerships, coordinate internal teams for project delivery, maintain engagement with technical partners and subcontractors.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Masters degree in any discipline, preferably Business, marketing or Public Administration.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s or Masters degree in any discipline, preferably Business, marketing or Public Administration.
Experience:
Entry-level role requiring strong analytical capacity, and willingness to learn OR 2-5 years’ experience in business development or related roles.
Additional Notes:
Understanding of Nigerian public procurement processes. Already established network of relevant stakeholders is a plus.
